After attending the STEPS missions weekend, I'm left with more questions than answers.Which is EXCELLENT!!!!
Here's just a short summary. I'll probably give a more detailed account..... when I'm not lazy
1) Surveying Your Spiritual Journey <- How God has been molding you all this while.
2) Testing Your Call <- When is a "call" a call. Do you really need a "call" rather than just a biblical conviction
3)Evaluate Your Obstacles <- Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.
4) Preparation <- The key point is to pray, pray and pray
5) Sanctified <- God calls us all to be holy

Thought of the dayEver wondered why people backslide?
Think the main reason is that they've not been feeding on the solid food(Word of God) and drinking(prayer) well.
We all know that the Word of God is living and active.
Yet often we are overly reliant on supplements(ie. books, music, conferences, concerts....) that our spiritual muscles degenerates.
As a result, when their faith is being tested...........

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

2Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.

For those of us who have gone through trials, we all know that God is always faithful.
Especially so when we cling onto him.
When Jesus prayed for his disciples, He prayed not for them to be taken out of this world. But he prayed for protection from the evil one.

Whatever I say or do, I'm "carrying" the name of our Almighty God.
